  • Forelle Pears are the smallest type of pears, the taste is sweet and tangy, they are available in the fall through the winter. The size of the pears is between 5-7 CM. The skin is smooth and when it's ripe its color transforms from green to yellow, and reddish.

    Ingredients:

    1 bunch kale
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    salt
    pepper
    1 pear
    1/2 cup walnuts

    Instructions:

    1. Take the kale leaves off the stems and cut the kale into small ribbons. Place it in a medium bowl and add one teaspoon olive oil and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
    2. Whisk together 2 tablespoons of olive oil with the lemon juice. Add salt and pepper to taste. Toss the kale with the desired amount of dressing. Add the pear and walnuts and toss to combine.
