  • Badami is Karnataka's (A State in India) leading mango variety but it is widely cultivated in other countries like Pakistan. It is often called Karnataka's own Alphonso. The reason being the taste and texture of Badami is almost the same as that of Alphonso. The season of Badami is from April to June. This mango has thin pale skin through which it is easy to detect the softness of the pulp.
